Yukon Bird Club traditionally has a mid-winter evening potluck dinner and slideshow — one of our few in-person events that is not a field trip. This is an opportunity for birdwatchers of all stripes to gather, socialize, enjoy a nice meal, and share their photos and stories of ornithological adventure! This event is usually held in mid-January, just when everyone needs a little pick-me-up as we begin – sort of –  to emerge from the dead of winter. Please consider attending – it’s one of the best opportunities to socialize with other Yukon bird enthusiasts, including the people who keep the Yukon Bird Club going. The public is welcome, you don’t need to be a member of the Yukon Bird Club.

This year (2024) our annual Potluck and Slideshow will be held at Hellaby Hall at 6 PM Thursday January 18th, 2024. Bring your favourite potluck dish and photos! Please keep pictures to 10 or less on a USB drive. We are looking forward to seeing everyone….
