15 Yukon Birds Poster

Our free poster of 15 common Yukon birds for you to learn

Some Background….

The YBC Youth Outreach Project 2025-2026 was funded by Lotteries Yukon and the Yukon Bird Club. There were two main elements of the project. The first was to produce a 3 ft x 2 ft bird poster featuring 15 migratory bird species that can be seen almost anywhere in the Yukon during the spring and summer. The second, was to purchase some compact binoculars for children to use at events so they can get used to viewing birds and other wildlife at an early age.

The poster was designed and illustrated by local artist, Teagan Beemer and one poster was sent to every school in the Yukon. The binoculars are used at events organized by the Yukon Bird Club for young children during the spring and summer.

Two PDFs of the poster  can be downloaded.

This one is for printing at a professional printing company at 3 ft x 2 ft

The other one (shown below) is for printing on 11 x 17 paper. For the latter, we recommend using the ‘fit to page’ option for best results.
