Birding for Beginners Day Workshop

This is a workshop that’s oriented towards people who want to learn more about how to bird. Glenn Rudman will share the fundamentals of getting started in the birding world with a day of presentations, in-class activities, and outdoors components. The Yukon Bird Club offers this workshop as a free event – become a member to help support our free events! Bring lunch, binoculars if you have them, and dress to spend time outdoors. Refreshments will be provided.

Kluane BioBlitz

Special Event! Kluane BioBlitz! Learn about this region’s special birds and biodiversity with a host of expert biologists at the Kluane Research Station (Arctic Institute), Mile 1054 Alaska Highway. This special event starts on Friday evening. Participants are welcome to join Pam Sinclair at 8:30am Sunday for a morning birdwalk.
